My journey to remote working

From my earliest days I always dreamt of working internationally.

I graduated with a degree in International Business and I set my sights on a move overseas to chase that dream. Those were the days when work was a place and people moved to work.

I joined a Hong Kong headquartered global relocation company moving expatriates around the world for their employers; major multinational corporations, governments and NGOs. Many of those people were chasing the same dream as me.

I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to move many times myself. My career has taken me around the world to every continent; from Australia to Hong Kong, Indonesia to India, Korea to Spain, the USA to Singapore, and many places in between, to my current home, London. The world’s global city.

Fast forward 25 years of my career and I’ve spent the last few years working remotely for the world’s leading global growth company, helping their customers employ people in over 180 countries. Many of those people work remotely, enjoying the benefits of a way of working that I genuinely believe will be a key foundation for the future of work.

So from moving ‘people to work’, to moving ‘work to people’, I’ve lived that dream, and want to help make that dream a reality for others.
